Brandenburg, Polish: Branibór or Branibórz. Established as Brenna a fortress of Slavic nation Strodoranie. From 948 a headquarters of bishopric; 1154-57 ruled by Slavic Prince Jaksa z Kopanicy. Later became a main town of Brandenburg. Nowadays in town live 72 000 inhabitants and is famouf for gothic architecture.
