Cologne, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Cologne (German: Köln; Polish: Kolonia)-  lies on the river Rhine.  It is capital of North-Rhine-Westphalia (German: Nordrhein-Westfalen; Polish: Nadrenia Północna-Westfalia). The city's famous Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is the seat of the Catholic Arcybishop. The University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln) is one of Europe's oldest universities.Cologne is Germany's 4th largest city (after Berlin, Hamburg and Munich) with more than  million inhabitants. Cologne was founded by the Ubii in the year 38 BC.
