Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany
Hamelin (German: Hameln) is a town on the river Weser. It is the capital of the district of Hamelin-Pyrmont and has a population of 58,696 .Hamelin is also the gateway to the surroundingWeserbergland mountains, which can be visited by hikers and bikers. The town is famous for The Brothers Grimm and their story "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" ( Geman: Der Rattenfänger von Hameln, Polish: Flecista z Hameln).
