The Rhön Mountains, Germany

The Rhön Mountains (Die Hohe Rhön) are a group of low mountains in central Germany, located around the border area where the states of Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia come together. On a card- village Frankenheim in Thuringia with 1200 inhabitants. The mountains are famous for their mineral springs and not high peaks. Main town-Fulda.
