Massandra, Ukraine

Massandra (Ukrainian: Масандра, Crimean Tatar: Massandra) is a townlet in the Yalta region of Crimea. Occupying the spot of an ancient Greek settlement(Tavrida-Ταυρίδα), Massandra was acquired by Polish Counts Potocki in 1783 who started to build here a palace and a park.
