Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA

Baton Rouge is a capital of Louisiana. The old state capitol, destroued by fire during Civil War, was rebuilt 1880-82 ans is a museum today. The state capitol, 34 stories high, is the tallest in the nation. Built during the depression, it was the dream of Gov. Huey P. Long. He was assassinated here and lies buried on the grounds.
