Aberdeen Proving Ground, APG - a military facility of the US Army, located near Aberdeen in Harford County, Maryland in the United States.

On October 20, 1917, the oldest military training ground in the United States was established here, 6 months after the country entered World War I. The location made it possible to test weapons in a place not too far from communication centers, factories and research centers. On January 2, 1918, the first test firing took place here. At the height of World War II, nearly 30,000 soldiers were stationed here. The area of ​​the training ground covers an area of ​​295.27 km2 and is home to, among others, the United States Army Ordnance Museum.
