Jena is a town in central Germany on the river Saale (Polish: Soława) It has a population of 103,000 and is the second largest city in the federal state after Erfurt. Jena is famous for universities. First one was founded in 1558.
Helmstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany
Helmstedt - town has 26,000 inhabitants . In former times the city was also called Helmstädt.Helmstedt was first mentioned in 952; it became a city in 1247. From late 1940s till 1990 Helmstedt was main border bewtween West and East Germany. A town is famous for its beautiful architecture. This card was sent by Uwe.

Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany
Würzburg - is a city in the region Franconia (Franken) which lies in the northern tip of Bavaria (Bayern). Located at the Main River, it is the capital of the Lower Franconia ( regin). The regional dialect is Franconian. It is big town ( 133 thousands people). During the 2nd World War 90% of centre was destroyed, over the next 20 years, the buildings of historical importance were painstakingly and accurately replicated.

Bridlington - a seaside resort town in Yorkshire region in England, on a North Sea coast. In town live 33000 people. This amount rises considerably during the tourist season.

Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA
Atlantic City - a city in Atlantic County and a nationally renowned resort city for gambling, shopping and dinning. The city also served as the inspiration for the board game Monopoly. Atlantic City is located on Absecon Island on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The city has a population of 35770 people.

Sylt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany
Sylt is an island in northen Germany, a part of Nordfriesland district and well known for the distinctive shape of its shoreline.Till 1392 Sylt had a natural connect way to mainland but because of storm it was destroyed and Sylt became an island. Since 1927 Sylt has been connected to the mainland again by the Hindenburgdamm causeway.

The Mor Pagoda, China
The Mor Pagoda - Buddhism worshiper of the ancient Shule Kingdom. It was built in 7th century during the Tang dynasty, destroyed around 12th century. The pagoda has three square layers, each a little smaller than the one below it. The bottom layer has circumfe-rence of more than 48 m., the 2nd layer 40 m. and the third layer 32 m., while the pagoda stands more than 12 m. high. The platform beside the pagoda was one of the central temple structures, and in its side walls were carved niches housing Buddha figurines.

Die Legende Lebt - The legend alives. It is the next superb card of Trabant in my collection. This time Trabants were met in Dresden ( Saxony).

Rotenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany
Rotenburg- 21 thousands of inhabitants town on Wumme river. It was established in 1195 when a Prince-Bishop Rudolf I of Verden built a castle. The name Rotenburg means "red castle".

Hamelin (German: Hameln) is a town on the river Weser. It is the capital of the district of Hamelin-Pyrmont and has a population of 58,696 .Hamelin is also the gateway to the surroundingWeserbergland mountains, which can be visited by hikers and bikers. The town is famous for The Brothers Grimm and their story "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" ( Geman: Der Rattenfänger von Hameln, Polish: Flecista z Hameln).
